THIN ICE WARNING – OAK LAKE AERATION SYSTEM

The Oak Lake aeration system is now operating, which means there will be open water and dangerously thin ice around aerated areas all winter. Ice conditions can change quickly and may not be safe, even when they look solid.

Please:

Stay off the ice near aeration areas

Keep children and pets well back from the shoreline

Avoid walking, skating, snowmobiling, or driving on or near open water or posted thin‑ice zones

Your caution helps prevent emergencies and keeps everyone safe around Oak Lake this winter.
